found out how to make work old printers' models to on
64-bit Windows if there are no specific 64-bit drivers. 1. You must found 64-bit drivers for the model closely related to the yours (e.g. take Canon MF5700 drivers to use on MF5650). 2. Add new printer and select this drivers but specify "Print to file" port. Drivers will be installed even if you have not supported model or no printer at all. 3. Change port in printer settings on whatever you have (USB or event network shared printer). With good probability printing will work without problem, but other extra features (like scanning or ink level) probably not. |
